Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM Tue: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM Wed: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM Thu: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM Fri: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, directing visitors and/or contractors in accordance with site protocols and posted requirements. Support emergency and incident response by communicating with supervisors, public contacts, and/or first responders, and by preparing clear, accurate reports related to daily activities and unusual events. Minimum Requirements Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
