Pharmacist

Position Overview The Pharmacist will work in a highly automated central fill pharmacy alongside other pharmacists, technicians, and operations team members to ensure timely, accurate dispensing of medications while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Job Details JOB ID: JP00006061 Location: Onsite Role | Client Location: 4971 Southridge Blvd, Suite 115, Memphis, TN 38141 Duration: 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (as needed); Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Responsibilities Review and dispense medication orders, replenish hoppers, and oversee automation processes Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians, clerks, and support staff Perform quality checks during production and document/report medication errors Monitor and oversee return-to-stock processes Provide professional product information and operational guidance as needed Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and company policies Monitor drug storage and distribution Complete end-of-day assignments and closing protocols Promote teamwork and assist team members when needed Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution Prior experience in a pharmacy setting; high-volume pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays Company Overview Amerit Consulting is a fast-growing staffing and consulting firm.
