Physician - Neonatology

Overview We are looking for a Neonatologist to take care of newborn babies in a Level II NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). Responsibilities Caring for newborns who need Level II NICU support. Attending births that are high-risk or C-section deliveries. Taking care of the newborn nursery, including healthy babies when pediatricians are not available. Doing rounds in the hospital during the daytime. Being on call from home overnight. Working closely with nurses and other staff. Helping to improve the quality of care and coordination of services. Supporting newborns with resuscitation and stabilization when needed. Qualifications Must be Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatology – THIS IS NECESSARY. Must have a Georgia medical license (or be willing to get one) – THIS IS NECESSARY. Must have completed a Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (by the time you start) – THIS IS NECESSARY. Must have experience or training in Level II NICU care – THIS IS NECESSARY. Must get DEA certification before starting.
