Electrical Superintendent

Electrical Superintendent The Electrical Superintendent will coordinate and manage the team of electricians responsible for installation, wiring and testing of electrical components of chilled water systems. Responsibilities include task assignments, staff training, inspections and technical problem solving. As a leader, the Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring Stellar Energy's highest quality standards are met and that all safety procedures are implemented. This position will work out of our Manufacturing facilities in Jacksonville, Florida or Fort Worth, Texas. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely. This position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. This is a full-time position, with flexibility required to meet production demands and support cross-functional collaboration. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel is primarily not required with exception to local travel during the business day and occasional visits to job sites. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED 10+ years of experience managing electrical personnel in industrial or manufacturing environments with demonstrated ability to drive multi-project production results Journeyman or Masters Electricians License. 5+ years' experience mentoring foremen and developing leadership capabilities in team members Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management software for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting Preferred Education and Experience: Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems in manufacturing leadership role Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the USA.
