Senior Systems EngineerThe Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) organization is currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to join our McKinney, TX location. Join our organization and experience the Systems V engineering life cycle while interfacing with a variety of engineering disciplines, subject matter experts, Chief Engineers, Chief Technologists, the customer, and so many more to ensure we design, integrate, and strengthen our systems to work the first time and every time for our warfighters!As the Senior Systems Engineer you will join the AMRAAM PUMA Engineering Manufacturing and Development program as a member of the Systems Engineering Team. You will be responsible for systems engineering technical rigor throughout the full systems engineering lifecycle as it applies across a new missile sub-system and component design program. This will include evaluating requirements, coordination across multi-disciplinary teams, sharing program process knowledge, mentoring engineers, and working with the technical and program leads execute systems engineering tasks. This role supports a fast-paced, development critical program.As the Senior Systems Engineer – Systems Engineer, Air Dominance Portfolio, you will have the opportunity to work on development related modeling projects pertinent to the system lifecycle. Current program access, or the ability to obtain, is required to be considered for this position. This role is 100% on-site at our McKinney, TX campus.What You Will DoReview and maintain sub-assembly requirements within DOORSCreate, update, maintain, and improve Cameo diagrams for the new designGuide, support, and document product-based verification test executionFacilitate knowledge transfer within and across IPTs/CPTs to include Cross-Functional collaboration and coordinationSupport test equipment software integration and verification for system testQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.Experience in Systems EngineeringExperience on Missile ProgramExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and associated tools including Cameo and DOORSExperience with Systems Engineering Product Development CycleQualifications We PreferMasters or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or PhysicsA self-starter who can take on task with limited guidance.Strong analytical and communication skillsCustomer focus and collaboration skillsFamiliarity with cPDMFamiliarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures along with DoD customer infrastructure experienceUnderstanding of Systems Engineering Product Development CycleFamiliarity with system safety, reliability, and configuration managementExperience evaluating and mitigating technical risksPrior work experience giving technical briefs or presentationsWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
