CASCADES GUEST ATTENDANT - SEASONAL

Job Title

Position Summary Assists in the daily operation of The Cascade and Splash Pad to provide a safe, efficient, entertainment experience for guests, by providing customer service, serving as a souvenir salesperson, or working in food service. Must be age 16 or older. A variety of shifts are available from 24-40 hours per week. Must be able to work the Labor Day fireworks show.

Position Description

Additional Requirements & Scheduling: Effective communication skills, ability to do simple math, read and follow instructions, and ability to work independently. Available to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the facility, including available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to The Cascade visitors.
• Represent Jackson County Parks with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Maintain an environment of respect, courtesy, and cooperation.
• Initial rule education and enforcement.
• General assistance to the public.
• Prepare incident/accident reports, fee reports, attendance forms, deposit forms, etc.
• Operate a cash register proficiently, as well as warming and heating equipment (microwave, popcorn machine etc.)
• Promote The Cascades events and attractions verbally.
• Monitor guest's safe attendance and enjoyment of the Splash Pad
• Maintain and clean bathrooms daily.
• Maintain ongoing inventory and work to eliminate waste of products and supplies.
• Provide entertainment to families and children as one of our mascot characters.
• Abid by the rules of Jackson County.

Physical Requirements

Physically active position requiring walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pulling, and pushing. Requires operation of cash register, warming and heating equipment.
