Job Details Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing (Med/Surg) Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Setting: On-site inpatient acute care nursing unit Location: Durant, OK 74701 Start Date: 9/21/2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Weekly Hours: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680-$1,770 Additional Notes: Floating required; Cerner EMR; no call Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care or inpatient setting BLS and ACLS required PALS required within 6 months of the start date Comfortable working night shift travel nurse assignments and floating as needed Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to Med/Surg patients in a fast-paced acute care environment Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs Collaborate with the healthcare team to support safe, efficient patient outcomes Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Cerner EMR Adapt to floating assignments while delivering excellent patient care Support a patient ratio of approximately 6:1 Looking for Oklahoma nursing jobs or Med/Surg travel nurse jobs?
