Travel Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy

Immediate need for a talented Travel Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapy. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Los Angeles, CA(Onsite). Key Responsibilities: Schedule Options: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday – Saturday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Treat patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity injuries and conditions Manage post-surgical rehabilitation cases in a high-volume hand clinic Perform evaluations and create individualized treatment plans Fabricate and modify dynamic/custom splints Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, edema control, scar management, and patient education Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and rehabilitation teams Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Active California Occupational Therapist License Minimum 2 years of Hand Therapy experience Outpatient rehabilitation experience required Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) PAMs Certification required Strong experience with post-surgical rehabilitation protocols Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred Strong dynamic splint fabrication experience Experience treating orthopedic and upper extremity conditions Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
