Position Summary:

As an Intake & Scheduling Specialist, you will play an essential role on our administrative support team as the first point of contact for individuals seeking mental health services. This is a part-time, 20-hour-per-week remote position reporting to the Director of Client Access and Revenue Operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing critical support to clients. Compensation is $25.00 per hour. The position offers flexible scheduling within standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete demographic intake screenings and assessments to collect essential information from prospective clients
• Accurately and promptly enter all client data into the EHR system to support timely access to care
• Distribute all required and supplemental consent forms through the client’s patient portal
• Offer appropriate resources and referrals to individuals experiencing crisis situations
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with all privacy and confidentiality regulations
• Review supportive scheduling assignments daily and complete assigned outreaches promptly
• Conduct client intake assessments and facilitate immediate clinician matching and appointment scheduling
• Supporting the gathering and integration of data related to intake services
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care

Qualifications:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills while maintaining organization
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Familiarity with behavioral health terminology and available community resources
• Proficient in using computer systems, including EHR systems and Google Drive
• Assess and adapt plans of action as necessary for identified tasks to allow task prioritization
