As a Sr Mainframe Production Support Analyst (NJ, NC, FL), you will be an integral part of the Mainframe Operations Department supporting critical business functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: Sr Mainframe Production Support Analyst (NJ, NC, FL)Location: Pennington, NJ/ Charlotte, NC/ Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)Pay Range: $65-$67/hr What's the Job?Provide production support for mainframe systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to DB2, Cobol, CICS, IMS, and other mainframe components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems efficiently. Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and maintenance activities. Document processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.What's Needed?Strong experience with mainframe systems, including DB2, Cobol II, JCL, and utilities like Sort, Fileaid, and REXX. Knowledge of BMC DB2 Catalog Manager and Application Performance Analyzer. Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as Intertest and TMONG for CICS and Batch programs. Familiarity with VSAM, Utilities, and mainframe scheduling tools like OPC or CA7.
