Material Planning Officer

Position Summary Manage Supplier's portfolio (Internal and/or External suppliers) for ensuring goods delivery at right time, quantity and place based on KB Signaling needs. Express delivery needs to suppliers and contribute to governance of the Supplier's delivery performances. Drive action plan for performance improvement & contribute to risk management. Collaborate with the Sourcing team to ensure the contractual agreements are reflected in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Essential Functions Analyze Suppliers confirmations vs. KB Signaling needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/projects Communicating delivery needs to Suppliers using dedicated tools Analyze and manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand). Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for KB Signaling projects Monitor Supplier's performances KPI's Participate/lead Supplier's performances improvement Contribute with Sourcing inputs for supplier selection Contribute to objectives and targets by ensuring material planning and ERP settings are in line with these objectives. Ensure and update the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints) Create Material Planning documents (Source List and Purchase Order Creation) Communicate the Material Planning documents to Suppliers and follow suppliers’ confirmation Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions Organize and maintain regular reviews with Suppliers to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances Maintain delivery dates in ERP Track missing parts until stock availability Ensure non-conformities replacement through NCR process Resolve Goods Receipts issues with the applied means of communication (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, quantity mismatch, Invoices, etc.) Analyze and share deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External) Contribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action plan Respect KB Signaling EHS policy Participating in EHS improvement and targets achievement Respect KB Signaling Ethics & Compliance codes Experience Experience with ERPs – SAP highly preferred, Supply Chain concepts, processes continuous improvement, English. Salary and Benefits The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Grain Valley, MO is $65,000 to $72,000 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. KB Signaling is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation that will be prorated, 40 hours of personal business time and 160 hours of sick time for KBS employees. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays, and 2 floating holidays throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use. Requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents and policies. Hired applicants will be able to purchase company stock, subject to the relevant plan documents and annual bonuses based on achievement of certain metrics of up to 4% of annual salary.
