Manufacturing Controller

Controller Manufacturing | Cleveland - East Side Ready to step into a Controller role where you'll influence operationsnot just accounting? Our client, a growing manufacturer backed by private equity, is seeking a hands-on Controller to serve as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, analyzing performance, improving profitability, and helping drive business decisions. This isn't a traditional financial reporting position. While you'll oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, you'll also work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Corporate Finance to improve manufacturing performance, inventory, productivity, and cost controls. What You'll Do Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Drive manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, WIP and standard costing Analyze daily operational KPIs and financial performance Partner with Operations to improve productivity and profitability Lead budgeting, cash flow and capital planning Support ERP initiatives and continuous process improvements Develop one direct report while influencing cross-functional leadership teams Coordinate audits, compliance and internal controls We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA or CMA preferred 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience Manufacturing and cost accounting experience required Strong understanding of inventory, standard costing and variance analysis ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite or similar) Someone who enjoys partnering with operationsnot just closing the books Why You'll Love It $150,000-$180,000 base salary Quarterly bonus (historically paid) Outstanding benefits Strong succession opportunities Highly visible leadership role Opportunity to grow toward Corporate Finance or General Management If you're looking for a Controller position where you can truly impact business performance, we'd love to speak with you.
