Overview Southern Health Partners is seeking a confident, compassionate, and highly organized LPN Medical Services Coordinator to join our team at the Madison County Detention Center in Alabama. This is a leadership-focused nursing role perfect for an LPN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing patient care with coordination, communication, and daily operational support. This is a Full-Time, Evening Shift position (Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) located in Huntsville, AL 35801. Responsibilities Assist with daily medical scheduling and coordination Support nursing staff and maintain smooth clinical operations Manage documentation, medical records, and communication Monitor medication administration processes Assist with intake procedures and healthcare follow-up Help ensure compliance with policies, protocols, and standards Serve as a dependable point of contact for both staff and patients Create a calm, professional environment where teamwork thrives Qualifications Active Alabama LPN license Minimum of one year of LPN experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and work independently Leadership mindset with a team-first attitude Correctional, medical office, or supervisory experience is a plus Passion for patient care and operational excellence Why This Role Stands Out This isn’t just another nursing position.
