Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Electro-Mechanical Assembler $18.00-$18.50 per hour Monday-Friday | 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to assemble components and finished products used in a variety of customer applications. This position works from blueprints, engineering drawings, bills of materials, manufacturing procedures, and other technical instructions. Responsibilities Assemble electronic, electrical, and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products. Read and follow blueprints, drawings, sketches, work orders, process sheets, and written instructions. Use hand tools and calibrated measuring equipment to complete precise assembly work. Perform alignment, adjustments, testing, cleaning, pressure testing, and minor repairs as required. Obtain and handle parts and materials needed to complete work orders. Inspect work throughout the assembly process to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards. Report defects, scrap, and production problems to the Cell Leader or Supervisor. Prepare completed products for shipment or storage. Maintain accurate production records and related documentation. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Cross-train and assist in other assembly areas as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. One to three years of manufacturing, assembly, or related experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints required. Previous electro-mechanical assembly or soldering experience preferred. Strong hand dexterity and ability to work with small components. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Tools and Equipment Experience with any of the following is helpful: Calipers and micrometers Plug gauges and dial gauges Torque wrenches and torque-measuring screwdrivers Drop indicators and force gauges Oscilloscopes Specialized manufacturing and measuring equipment Physical Requirements Ability to lift 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, up to eight hours per day. Good manual dexterity and visual acuity. Ability to work around industrial cleaning chemicals and oils while following all required safety procedures.
