Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• We require strong working knowledge of PowerSchool/Infinite Campus, ECATS, and Canvas.
• We require advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access, as well as Google Apps and Office 365.
• We need solid understanding of federal, state, and local program requirements.
• We require experience with database systems and the ability to handle large, complex datasets.
• We value strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• We need clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to share information effectively.
• We require the ability to work independently, complete tasks, and build productive working relationships.
• We require an associates degree in information systems, business administration, programming, or equivalent relevant experience.
• We require three years of experience in database management or a related field.
• We require a valid North Carolina motor vehicle operators license that is maintained in good standing.

• We ensure the accuracy of current and historical databases within the Office of Early Learning.
• We prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly reports and spreadsheets on OEL programs and services.
• We research and analyze data to produce specialized reporting.
• We review district maps, capacities, and comparisons of Pre-K programs.
• We maintain and evaluate Teaching Strategies Gold data.
• We develop and refresh the OEL Data Dashboard.
• We collaborate with other departments to maintain kindergarten readiness data.
• We provide backup data entry support for the collaborative system used for Pre-K student placement.
• We process preschool student data updates.
• We participate in the Wake Pre-K Collaborative with NC DCDEE, Telamon Head Start, and Wake County Smart Start.
• We assist with compiling and analyzing screening and placement data.
• We work with community partners to analyze shared data.
• We enter and maintain Parent Powered enrollments.
• We carry out other related duties as assigned.

We are hiring a Data Analyst for our Office of Early Learning based in Cary, NC, with a hybrid telework schedule and a Monday-Friday workweek that may occasionally include evenings and weekends. This role supports our data operations, reporting, and dashboard development for early learning programs and services. We offer a professional office environment with standard equipment and opportunities to collaborate closely with school system staff, community partners, and external agencies. The work involves light physical effort and may occasionally require driving.
