Atrium Health Floyd, a part of Advocate Health, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider specializing in Psychiatry to join our growing outpatient Behavioral Health practice. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care while working alongside a collaborative team of psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the communities we serve. The selected provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with a variety of acute and chronic psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, and other mood and thought disorders. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, patient education, and ongoing care coordination in an outpatient setting. The provider will perform psychiatric evaluations, establish diagnoses, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
