Wound Care Nurse

Wound Care Nurse We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team at ALIYA of Palos Park. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high‑quality wound care to our patients, promoting healing, and improving overall health outcomes. Responsibilities Assess, plan, and implement individualized wound care treatment plans in accordance with established standards of care. Conduct wound inspections and assess wound status, documenting findings and progress. Develop and implement treatment plans, including wound cleansing, dressing changes, and other interventions as needed. Educate patients and family members on wound care and prevention strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care outcomes. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a Wound Care Nurse. Current RN license in the state of Illinois. Certification in wound care (CWCN, CWS, or CWOCN) preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with electronic medical records and wound care software.
