Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule: Rotating 12 hours: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am 24-36 hours/week Every 3rd Weekend

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 24-36 hours/week

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
• High Risk Labor and Delivery experience
• Fetal Monitoring experience
• Antepartum experience
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• NRP certification
• Experience with newborn, adolescent, and adult populations
• Epic experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic care to patients and families in the Labor and Delivery setting.
• Perform assessments, nursing diagnoses, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Develop and revise patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Delegate appropriate nursing duties to other healthcare team members as needed.
• Participate actively in improving practice standards and the care environment to enhance patient experiences.
• Maintain adherence to nursing standards and competencies specific to the assigned service area.

Compliance / Notes:

• Will accept a temporary state RN license for submission.
• All RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; requests may not be honored after submission.
