Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking a Sr. Courier to join our team at 5005 South 40th Street in Phoenix, AZ 85040Work Schedule: Full-time. This position floats between all shifts and starts as early as 6:30am and as late as 4:00pm. Overtime and rotating weekends may be required.Job Responsibilities:Act as a floater for the logistics team providing as needed coverage for various routesProvide on route training for new couriers/driversAssist with dispatch and pickups when neededLoad all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickupsComplete daily pick up schedule in a timely mannerDeliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shiftHandle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient mannerSafely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic lawsUtilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks upWork directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as neededEvaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as neededMinimum Qualifications:3 years or more previous driver or courier experiencePreferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED or equivalent1 years or more of customer service experienceAdditional Job Standards:Very punctual and strong time management skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to problem solve customer issuesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to meet the physical demands of the positionValid Driver's License and clean driving recordBe at least 21 years' oldAt Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
