Local Class A Driver

Job Summary MedTrans is Medline’s private fleet of professional drivers that delivers our lifesaving medical products directly to commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 1,900+ trucks equipped with newer technology. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationwide to provide 1‑day shipping to 95% of the United States. The Driver operates a Class A vehicle to transport life‑saving medical products to local customers, building positive relationships through timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. Responsibilities Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck. Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing required safety equipment and performing safety checks. Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries. Provide in‑person support to customers by addressing questions, providing documentation, and meeting their needs. Communicate with the dispatching team regarding route or schedule adjustments to meet customer needs and maintain safety. Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy. Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and adequate fuel levels. Required Experience Minimum 2 years of tractor‑trailer driving experience. Class A CDL; licensed to operate assigned vehicle. Ability to meet Federal and State commercial motor vehicle requirements. Clean driving record with no serious violations. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Benefits Drivers are home daily with local routes, supporting work‑life balance. Safety is our #1 priority. Salary Anticipated salary range: $26.75 – $38.75 hourly. Actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
