Speech Therapist PRN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist PRN to join our interdisciplinary team at Pelican Pointe Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation in North Cape May, NJ. As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will provide high-quality speech therapy services to our residents and patients. Responsibilities:
Conduct speech therapy evaluations, assessments, and treatments for patients with a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to: cognitive, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and procedures
Participate in in-service training and staff development programs to stay current with best practices and new technologies
Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, patient satisfaction, and family-centered care
Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
New Jersey license to practice speech therapy
