Purchasing Clerk

We are a dynamic manufacturing company committed to producing top-quality products and delivering exceptional service. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Clerk to join our team and support both procurement and production operations.

• Assist in placing, tracking, and managing purchase orders for raw materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure seamless production flow
• Communicate effectively with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules, fostering strong supplier relationships
• Monitor inventory levels proactively and coordinate timely replenishment of critical materials to prevent production delays
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and update internal databases, including ERP and inventory management systems

• Collaborate with the production team to forecast material needs based on current and upcoming orders
• Track work-in-progress materials, identify potential shortages or delays, and escalate issues promptly
• Prepare and distribute essential production documentation such as job travelers and work orders
• Perform precise data entry and uphold comprehensive records of materials used, ensuring data integrity

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing and/or purchasing preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
