Robotics Systems Engineer – ABB & RAPID Programming
Our team in Waukesha County, WI is looking for an Automation Engineer with a focus on ABB & RAPID Programming. Join us as we create innovative automation systems and take projects from concept to completion in a dynamic and unique environment.
Seeking 5+ years of experience in ABB robot programming within custom industrial automation settings
2+ years of expertise in ABB RobotStudio simulation and RAPID programming, along with PLC architecture development
Experience designing industrial motion control networks and machine safety systems
Up to 30% domestic and international travel required for deployment and client testing
Competitive salary up to $120,000 based on experience level
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent hands-on experience
Located in Waukesha County, WI with a short commute requirement
U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only

What You Will Be Doing
Developing clean robot programs using ABB RobotStudio and RAPID code
Leading the lifecycle of custom machinery builds from design to debugging
Configuring electrical setups and software integration for robotic systems
Troubleshooting complex robotic pathing and system integration issues
Traveling domestically and internationally for onsite deployment and commissioning
Documenting system designs and programming manuals
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of ABB robotics programming experience with RAPID code proficiency
2 years of industrial PLC programming experience
Experience with motion control and machine safety systems
Willingness to travel up to 30% globally
Stable engineering career history and project completion track record
Residency within 45-minute driving distance of Waukesha County
