Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Mechanical Project Manager (PM) to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, particularly in the commercial and HVAC sectors. As a Mechanical PM, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our mechanical engineering projects, from design through to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Job Details Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and manage all aspects of mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to create and implement comprehensive MEP designs.
3. Review and approve project designs and specifications, ensuring they meet the necessary standards and requirements.
4. Monitor project progress, managing any changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
5. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
6. Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
7. Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
9. Prepare and present progress and budget reports to stakeholders.
10. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise, developing effective solutions to keep projects on track. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience with HVAC MEP, Commercial MEP, mechanical, electric, and plumbing systems.
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts and best practices.
5. Proficient in project management software and standard office software, such as MS Office.
6. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and perform under pressure.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
10. Up-to-date knowledge of industry legal regulations, guidelines, and safety standards.
