Responsibilities Greets and interacts with members and guests in a professional, positive manner. Supports branch and OHecu goals for growth and member service. Assists in educating and enhancing the financial well‑being of the members. Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amounts and examines checks for endorsements. Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures, authenticity and member balances. Enters customer transactions into computer to record transactions and issues computer‑generated receipts. Places holds on deposits according to established procedures. Follows government regulations and security guidelines. Balances currency, coin and checks in cash drawer/CDM at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen. Immediately reports any discrepancies to the Assistant Branch Manager. Explains, promotes or sells products or services such as traveler's checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier's checks. Refers members to the Member Service Representatives for additional information on OHecu products and services. Qualifications Minimum of three years experience in cash handling and/or customer service, preferably within a financial services (bank, credit union, savings and loan) environment. Cash handling: 3 years (required). Financial services: 2 years (preferred). Job Type Full‑time. Pay From $16.00 per hour. Hours 38 – 40 per week. Monday through Thursday 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Friday 8:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Benefits 401(k) with employer match. Health insurance. Dental insurance. HSA. Life insurance.
