About the Position

Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: 24 months of current Cardiac Cath experience required License: Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; will accept non-licensed applicants who must apply for a license upon acceptance Certifications: ARRT or RCIS certificate required; AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS ACLS; AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS required Must-Have: - 24 months of experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab - Proficient with fluoroscopy - Proficiency and comfort in peripheral and coronary angio cases - Proficiency and comfort in PCI and pacemaker procedures - Equipment experience with Impella highly preferred - Additional equipment experience with Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS highly preferred - Reference check from a charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO performance evaluation within 24 months Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Phone call or text communication is preferred. Local radius rule: Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license. Any past employee of the organization, whether FTE or PRN, is not eligible to work travel in another market within the past 12 months. If they have worked travel previously, the separation policy does not apply. Mandatory work of 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. Patient volume ranges from 4 scans per day. The lab is equipped with an Artis Zee c-arm, Impella, IABP, and Acist Injector. Candidates will work with patients requiring peripheral and coronary angio, PCI, and pacemaker procedures. Scrubs are provided by the organization and will be light blue in color.
