Job Title: Electrician (Journeyman and Apprentice)

Job Description

This role offers an opportunity for both Journeyman and Apprentice Technicians with 2–4 years of experience to work on a variety of construction projects. You will focus on electrical installations, conduit work, wiring, and troubleshooting while contributing to safe, high-quality builds in an outdoor construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and components in accordance with project specifications and blueprints.
• Run, bend, and install conduit using proper tools and techniques to meet code and project requirements.
• Pull and route electrical wire and cable through conduit and other pathways.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to plan and execute installations.
• Install, connect, and maintain switchgear and related electrical equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues.
• Assist in mechanical aspects of electrical installations as required by the project.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with forepersons and other team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on construction sites.

Essential Skills

• 2–4 years of experience as an electrical technician, apprentice, or journeyman.
• Proficiency in installing electrical systems on construction projects.
• Ability to run, bend, and install conduit accurately and safely.
• Experience pulling wire and routing cable through conduit and other pathways.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Hands-on experience with switchgear installation and related electrical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical systems and components.
• Mechanical aptitude to support electrical and related installations.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively on active construction sites.
• Capability to work full-time hours on a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in outdoor construction environments.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and industry best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with forepersons, journeymen, and apprentices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliability and punctuality for a fixed daytime schedule.

Work Environment

This role is based in an outdoor construction environment, working primarily on active job sites. The schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will work with electrical tools, conduit bending equipment, wiring, and switchgear in a setting that requires adherence to safety standards and appropriate construction-site attire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of spicewood, TX.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
