You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.11 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials as required, direct visitors and deliveries, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established response procedures. Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
