Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Operating Room Registered NursePosition / Specialty: Operating Room RN Shift: 3x12s 1830-0700. Weekend REQ: weekends yes, likely only Friday nights, on-call, no. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? If needed, but likely not, this is a vacant essential position. Open to accommodating block schedule? Per manager's discretion, nightshift is only for urgent/emergent add-ons.Certifications Required: SC/Compact Nursing License, BLS. Radiation badge needs to be provided by parent company. Number of ORs: 8, but only 2 operational overnight.Years of Experience Required: At least 2 in a pediatric setting, and minimum 2 traveler contract experience. Certifications Required: BLS. Experience preferred: peds and/or women's surgery.First-timers Accepted: No. Locals Accepted: Yes. Local radius rule: 60 miles. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility's needs. Guaranteed hours-Traveler may be called off 10 hours per 2-week period. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or extended assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
