A retail pharmacy position is available for a licensed Pharmacist at a well-established location in Newport, PA. This direct hire opportunity offers a variable schedule with day and afternoon shifts, totaling 74 bi-weekly hours, and an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with store operations to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy strategies.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription processing by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality checks per state and federal regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy department with a focus on profitability and growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinating with the pharmacy district manager to meet customer demand while controlling costs.
• Align department performance with key metrics to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, provide healthcare counseling, and resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with healthcare providers and use reference materials to address prescription inquiries and concerns.
• Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Prioritize daily tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and processing will-calls promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
