Details Mixed unit high acuity setting covering MS/Tele, Cardiac Tele, and PCU Day shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00-19:00 1:6 patient ratio required Every other weekend required Floating required within scope No block scheduling permitted Charting via Meditech Mandatory 5-shift clinical orientation week (36-40 hours) required Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required 1:6 patient ratio experience required (1:5 may be considered if clearly documented) Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Strong telemetry experience required Rapid Response team experience required Total joint replacement experience required Meditech charting experience required Community hospital experience preferred Additional Information Care for a high acuity mixed patient population including cardiac telemetry, PCU, and general med/surg cases Scrub color is unrestricted Free parking available in unrestricted spaces No RTO permitted during the first or last week of the assignment Holiday coverage required per facility restrictions, potentially including working an eve shift (12/24 or 12/31) and 1-2 holiday shifts depending on how many holidays fall within the assignment Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler First-time travelers are not accepted for this role Approximately 4 hours of training modules must be completed prior to start date American Traveler Job ID P-749690.
