This is a great opportunity for an early-career accountant who wants to build experience beyond traditional general accounting and gain exposure to inventory, cost accounting, operations, and internal controls.Position OverviewThe Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations with a strong focus on inventory accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, and manufacturing-related accounting activities. This individual will work closely with the accounting team as well as plant and operations personnel, providing valuable exposure to the financial side of a manufacturing environment.Why This Opportunity Stands Out (Staff Accountant):Excellent opportunity to gain hands-on manufacturing and cost accounting experienceExposure to inventory, operational finance, internal controls, and plant operationsClear opportunity to develop toward Senior Accountant or Cost Accountant responsibilitiesCollaborative environment with visibility across accounting and operationsHybrid flexibility and the opportunity to grow into a senior accountant with a rapidly growing companyKey Responsibilities (Staff Accountant):Perform inventory reconciliations, investigate variances, and support proper inventory valuationReconcile balance sheet accounts, including prepaid inventory and accrued receiptsAssist with month-end close, journal entries, supporting schedules, and account analysisPartner with operations and plant personnel to research and resolve accounting discrepanciesParticipate in internal audits, walkthroughs, documentation, and control testingAssist with fixed assets, depreciation schedules, AP/AR, and other general accounting functionsSupport ad hoc financial analysis, special projects, and process improvement initiativesPreferred Qualifications (Staff Accountant):Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required1–3 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience is a plusUnderstanding of general accounting principles and month-end closeStrong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas
