Seeking a dedicated professional eager to support students and enhance their educational experience in a contract position working with grades PK through 8. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about creating a positive impact in a school setting and developing hands-on experience as a paraprofessional.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• 60 college credits or a Paraprofessional certification (certification may be completed during the assignment)
• Previous experience working with children or within an educational environment is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Ability to support diverse learners with patience and adaptability
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom management, instruction, and the facilitation of learning activities
• Provide individualized or small group support to students to reinforce academic and social skills
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment
• Help monitor student progress and share observations with supervising educators
• Support students with special needs as appropriate, following outlined strategies and accommodations
• Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and transitions as needed
