This role will report to our manufacturing supervisor and is based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site role.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTIG experience in Inconel and stainless steelExperience in vacuum welding will be preferredPerform basic job functions as directed by shift lead or supervisor safely and efficientlyFollow standard operating procedures and/or work instructions exactly as written to produce a quality productFabricate components for use in a solid oxide fuel cell electrical power generatorPerform maintenance and repairs on equipmentMaintain all machine shop equipmentNotify management of shop consumables (i.e. cutting oils, welding gasses, tooling and bits, etc) in order to maintain inventoriesCreate assembly and fabrication fixturesAddress and recommend improved methods for creating hardware, and assembliesSkills RequiredWill be required to work in a safe manner in machine shop operationsMust demonstrate high levels of quality in welding exotic materials, such as InconelMust work well on cross functional teamsMust be able to work well with limited supervisionMust keep a clean and orderly work environmentMust have proficient use of hand tools, and bench top equipmentBe flexible on shifts and working hoursEducation and ExperienceH.S. diploma or equivalent technical/military training required3 – 5 years of working experience in a capital equipment environment, where hands on manufacturing practices were required$28.02 - $40.32
