Haddad Subaru of St. Albans is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Controller/Office Manager to join our team in St. Albans, VT. This key role combines financial oversight with office management to ensure smooth and efficient operations within our dealership. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid background in accounting and finance, and the ability to lead and support office functions effectively.

• Manage the company’s financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely submission of related taxes and filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax season.
• Supervise and support administrative staff and office activities to maintain a productive work environment.
• Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
• Manage vendor relationships and office supplies inventory.
• Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial requirements and reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting or office management roles, ideally within the automotive or retail sectors.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations is a plus.

• Competitive salary range from $75,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year, paid weekly.
