You'll gain experience with: Individual Taxation Partnership Taxation S-Corporation Taxation Corporate Taxation Trust & Estate Taxation Tax Planning Strategies IRS & State Tax Matters Client Advisory Services Team Leadership & Development This role offers an excellent blend of technical tax expertise, leadership development, and relationship management. Key Responsibilities Tax Engagement Leadership Lead tax engagements from planning through completion Prepare and review individual, business, and trust tax returns Research and resolve complex tax matters Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and quality Client Service Build and maintain strong client relationships Develop an understanding of client businesses and tax needs Communicate tax planning opportunities and recommendations Provide exceptional responsiveness and service Identify opportunities to help clients improve tax efficiency Team Leadership Supervise, train, and mentor Staff Associates and junior team members Review work performed by engagement team members Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development support Foster collaboration and engagement success Tax Research & Planning Research and analyze complex tax issues Assist with tax strategy development and planning opportunities Draft responses to tax authority inquiries Stay current on tax law developments and regulatory changes Support clients with proactive tax-saving strategies Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 3+ years of public accounting tax experience Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Commitment to delivering exceptional client service Preferred CPA license or active CPA candidate Experience reviewing business and trust returns Previous experience mentoring staff Strong technical tax knowledge Who Thrives Here?
