They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit. Our Atrium East unit at our Chelsea hospital cares for Medical-Surgical patients. Patient diagnoses can vary from medical such as: COPD, Sepsis, withdrawal, GI bleeds, CHF or Surgical: bariatric, Mastectomy, colorectal surgeries, hernias. This unit has 24 beds and specializes in complex high acuity medical and surgical patients with length of stay from 3-5 days. Shift Available: Night Shift Status Available: Contingent, not benefit eligible Minimum requirement of working 24 hours per six week schedule Required Qualifications Requires current Michigan Nursing License At least one year of Med/Surg RN experience required Graduation from accredited nursing program New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply About Chelsea Hospital Chelsea Hospital is a 103‑bed, not-for-profit hospital established in 1970 leading the way in patient safety in satisfaction.
