Independent Consultant Opportunity | Trade Compliance & Customs Readiness (M&A)

We're seeking an experienced Trade Compliance / Customs Consultant to support a PE client during the sign-to-close phase of a transaction.

The consultant will lead efforts related to:

• Customs brokerage setup and readiness
• Import/export compliance requirements
• Trade compliance program assessment and implementation
• Day 1 operational readiness planning
• Coordination with brokers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders
• Identification of compliance risks and process gaps

Ideal background:

• Former Director/Head of Trade Compliance, Global Trade Compliance Manager, or Customs Compliance Leader
• Experience supporting M&A integrations, carve-outs, or separations
• Strong knowledge of customs operations, import/export compliance, HTS classification, valuation, and related trade compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and advise senior stakeholders

This is an advisory engagement with a multinational client. xhyhwjd Prior experience establishing trade compliance and customs frameworks for complex organizations is highly preferred.
