As a Service Greeter, you will be responsible for greeting customers when they arrive in the service lane / department and providing great customer service. Essential Job Function and Responsibilities: Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions and directs them to the appropriate person or location, Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment, visually inspect each vehicle, and take photos of existing damage to the vehicles using a tablet every time, Tags and pods vehicles upon arrival, Parks customer vehicles waiting to be serviced according to status and keep service lane clear, Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow etc., Assists customers who are picking up their vehicle by pulling vehicle around to front of the building, Assists Technicians on tow-ins when time permits, Calls in aftermarket warranty claims during down times when needed, Supports the advisors with writing up customers and during check out when needed, Other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent, Team oriented, Previous experience working in a dealership service department, Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test, Valid driver's license with a good driving record, Outgoing, upbeat personality iwth excellent interpersonal skills, Reliable transportation and attendance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS CDK Experience REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS /LICENSURES None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb or balance, scoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and use foot/feet to operate machines. Must be able to lift and or move 50 lbs. This includes repetitive bending and lifting of items to stack or dump. Must be able to work under hot or cool, wet, and sometimes dusty and loud conditions, dust mask, ocverall and or hearing protection may be required.
