Responsibilities Deploy Oracle quarterly patches. Design, plan, implement, and administer databases, including security, access, and documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) technology stack issues in collaboration with database administrators, system administrators, developers, testers, and GDIT shipboard technicians. Collaborate with teammates onsite and via remote access tools. Provide expert database administration support in a Hyper‑V/VSphere virtualization environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Systems. Certifications: Security+, Oracle Database Administration, and Windows OS. 3+ years of related experience working as an Oracle/PeopleSoft DBA. In‑depth knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 12c/19c, PeopleTools, PeopleSoft HCM/HRMS, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and shell/Windows scripting on multiple operating systems and network platforms. Working knowledge of Docker containerization on a Linux (RHEL) platform, including building, configuring, optimizing Docker images, managing container lifecycle, maintaining private registries, implementing multi‑stage builds, configuring networking, volumes, and troubleshooting. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Preferred: Prior experience with the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS). Location: On Customer Site Security Clearance: Secret US Citizenship required. Additional Information Weekly hours: 40 Travel required: Less than 10% Telecommuting option: Onsite Work location: USA LA New Orleans The expected salary range is $97,968 - $120,750, depending on experience, location, and contractual requirements.
