Local: $70.00 - $72.00/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, imaging quality, and radiation safety.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience.

• New York State Department of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT).

• Active New York State LRT License.

• ARRT Certification.

• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program.

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.

• Associate's Degree.

• English: Read, Write, Speak.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including positioning and use of immobilization devices.

• Adjust equipment and exposure factors for radiographic procedures.

• Apply radiation protection techniques, including beam restriction and patient shielding.

• Follow infection-control policies and procedures.

• Produce and maintain high-quality radiographic images.

• Process radiographs and make necessary adjustments.

• Document patient-care services and verify completed examinations.

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot radiology equipment.

• Follow manufacturer instructions and arrange equipment repairs when necessary.

• Maintain radiology equipment inventories and supplies.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

• Maintain required CME and professional knowledge.

• Complete annual Age-Specific Competency requirements.

• Perform other X-Ray Technologist duties as assigned.
