Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 38-bed mixed ICU setting serving medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery patients at a Level II Trauma Center
• Care for post-operative open-heart surgery patients as well as patients requiring VV and VA ECMO, balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT support
• Assist with and support bedside procedures including bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, and arterial and central line insertions
• Manage airway care and perform frequent drip titrations in accordance with patient acuity and clinical protocols
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Maquet IABP, Vigilance II monitors, Impella, and ECMO systems
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care ICU hospital experience
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• CVICU or CTICU experience, specifically caring for immediate post-operative open-heart surgery patients
