Hotel Maintenance Technician Wanted

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to help maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of our hotel property. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure excellent guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and hotel equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Conduct preventative maintenance on hotel systems and equipment
• Repair drywall, paint, flooring, fixtures, and appliances as needed
• Maintain pool, spa, and outdoor areas (if applicable)
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and inventory records
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in hospitality, apartment, or commercial facilities preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• HVAC certification or trade certifications are a plus
