Position Summary:
We are looking to hire a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Roy Washington food processing facility. We are a high-quality driven family own organization with a positive focus on teamwork and quality. Our facility is a state-of-the-art egg processing facility with automated egg grading equipment. An employee of the maintenance department performs a variety of maintenance assignments to maintain, install and improve the processes of food manufacturing equipment. They are integrated in our overall operations team to help drive a safe and efficient workplace. We have an excellent benefits package, and pay is decided based on experience.

Shifts will be 8-10 hrs per day between the hours of 5:00am and 5:30pm.
Will work Saturday or Sunday, sometimes both depending on company needs.

SUMMARY
A maintenance technician repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, production machines and support utility equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (These duties are not limited, there may be additional responsibilities added.)

• Install and setup machines and equipment
• Knowledge in photocells, proximity switches, relay systems, power controls, and electrical systems.
• Establish and perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment and facilities
• Routine inspections of machinery and equipment to determine adjustments and repairs needed
• Troubleshoot and repair down processing and building equipment
• Support processing with changeover and product setup/startup
• Ensure constant adherence with all company, state, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
• Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of all work areas
• Ensure strict adherence with BRC (Safe Quality Food) code and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines and standards by working with good hygiene practices.
• Ability to learn about egg processing equipment
• Immediately report all incidents or potential noncompliance regarding Employee Safety, quality assurance or food safety to the Quality Assurance Manager or appropriate department supervisor/manager

Position-Specific Skills:

• 1-3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• Experience in Food Processing facility is a plus but not required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Bi-Lingual would be a plus
