Substitute Food Service Worker

The Hebron Public Schools is seeking food service worker substitutes for Hebron Elementary and Gilead Hill School for the 2025-2026 school year. The hourly rate is $19.34 per hour. General responsibilities include reading and interpreting documents, speaking clearly and concisely in both oral and written communications, and observing safety rules and regulations. Frequently lift up to 40lbs.

Duties and other responsibilities include preparing meals as assigned daily, performing food safety temperature checks as required, receiving deliveries and storing as required, performing monthly inventory of all cafeteria food products, serving food to students, and assisting the food handler with daily cleaning of the kitchen.

Physical requirements include reaching, some lifting, standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and/or crawling.
