As a Forklift Operator, your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move and stack materials in a warehouse or distribution center. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout the facility, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects
• Knowledge of RF scan guns and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Familiarity with pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with distribution center operations
• Knowledge of order picking processes and procedures
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or distribution center
• Stack and organize products in designated areas to maximize storage space
• Perform cycle counting to ensure accurate inventory levels and reconcile any discrepancies
• Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment
