This role will be based out of the Corpus Christi, TX area. This role is responsible for a semi-dedicated customer to ensure treatment chemicals and equipment are used effectively, economically, and safely in Refineries, Petrochemical, and terminals while exemplifying RTI's Mission and Core Behaviors.Duties & Responsibilities1. Manage chemical programs to maximize the safety, reliability, and profitability of our customers' assets.Implement Performance Management tools, set targets, and monitor the contingency plan for each applicationRoutine service visits and lab/field testing as outlined in the customer contract to ensure KPI's (key performance indicators) are being met, generate service reports, and maintain inventory records.Assist with technical issues and make improvements in products, processes, and proceduresOversee Account Representatives and Service TechniciansCoordinate with Supply Chain on the order and delivery of chemicals to maintain adequate on-site inventory levels.2. Develop relationships and regularly interface with clients' maintenance, operations, engineering, and turnaround teams.3. Utilize digital tools such as Rizon App, iView, or any other digital tool to effectively communicate and train refining companies on their purpose.4. Host quarterly business review meetings with key stakeholders to review safety performance, value-add projects, KPI's, and financials.Generate data analysis on program performanceLook for value-added growth opportunities.5. Maintain the quality of Rizon owned equipment6. Coordinate with Regional Business Director for:Chemistry selectionService requirementsPresentations7. Review and approve teams vacation requests, expense reports, stipends, etc.Challenge team with new responsibilities and continuing educationServe as a lead for training8. Evaluate safety performance of direct reports regularly.9. Ensure that effective JSAs are completed and reviewed.10. Provide onsite safety liaison for projects in his/her control.11. Complete Incident Reports and participate in cause findings and corrective action.12. Communicate weekly and incidental Safety Briefs with direct reports.13. Communicate all safety notifications upward and downward through his/her organization.RequirementsMinimum QualificationsA minimum of five years process engineering or operations at a refinery or chemical plantHighly proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Must be familiar with operations of refineries or chemical plantsConfidently lead a teamBecome familiar with RTI technologiesCommunicate clearly and effectivelyEfficiently and effectively handle multiple activities at one timeBe comfortable meeting with client leadershipPerform field service/lab testingWorking Conditions / Physical Demands The Company requires passing a pre-employment physical in which an objective medical professional will determine whether you can safely meet the physical demands of the position.Typically, 9-hour workdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (including 1 hour for lunch) that may extend up to 12+ hours if an emergency need existsAs needed based on contract scope, but normally 5 days on-site per week (Monday-Friday)Weekend coverage as neededNight shift as neededUneven or unstable ground, and wet, muddy, or slippery surfaces and footings.Outside locations in extreme temperatures and weather conditions including wind, rain, snow, and other forms of inclement weather.Routine, intermittent exposure to noise more than 85 dBA-TWA.Environments that may necessitate the use of respiratory protectionMedical clearance to use respiratory protection is required.Quantitative fit testing for specific respiratory protection is required.Work at heights up to 150 ft/ 45m accessed via stairs, climbing ladders, or critical lifts by cranes. This requires the ability to climb ladders and stairs without issue.Lifting and carrying up to 40lbs., without assistance.Pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs., without assistance.Standing and walking for up to 12 to 16 hours daily with minimal rest breaks.
