Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Put your expertise to work in a dynamic school setting, providing essential occupational therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade near Sterling, AK! This rewarding contract opportunity seeks two dedicated Occupational Therapists passionate about making a difference in young lives.

Enjoy a full-time schedule of 37.5 paid hours each week (8-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), working across five days. The role begins on August 17, 2026, and extends through May 21, 2027, serving a diverse caseload of up to 40 students (caseloads may vary depending on building assignments).

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold (or be eligible to obtain) Alaska OT licensure and Alaska Educator Certification
• Experience in a school setting highly preferred
• Comfortable working with children across the entire Pre-K through 12th grade age spectrum
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Willingness to adapt therapy plans to address the range of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions to support students’ educational and functional goals
• Conduct evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings as a valued member of the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with educators, families, and district staff to promote student independence
• Maintain timely documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
