Research & Writing Attorney - Federal Defense (Remote)

Federal Public Defender for the District of Connecticut seeks a Research and Writing Attorney to join the Hartford office in August 2026. The attorney will draft motions and briefs for federal courts and consult with defense teams on legal issues across motions, hearings, trials, and appeals. Occasional paralegal duties may be required. Applicants should be a graduate of an accredited law school, admitted to practice in good standing, with appellate or federal criminal experience preferred and a #J-18808-Ljbffr Federal Public Defender, District of Connecticut
