In partnership with Clinic Leadership, the Clinic Lead shall coach and lead clinical staff to instill the organization’s mission,
vision, and values through education, demonstration, and results.
• Leads clinical staff to efficiently direct patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Assist back-office staff as needed with rooming, assessment, procedure assist, provider assist, and intake of medical history
into EMR.
• Resolves daily workplace issues and maintain efficient workflow; assures coverage of all areas of responsibility
• Ensure that new hire staff is adequately trained and consistently follows the applicable Standard Operating Procedures and
Workflow.
• Shall lead ongoing quality monitoring of competencies of staff and assist in training and education.
• Responsible for oversight of the ERP inventory management. Performs monthly ERP inventory cycle counts of medical
supplies and medications. Ensure consistent and adequate inventory and reconcile monthly inventory with 100% accuracy.
• Responsible for receiving and reconciliation of medical supply, and medication.
• Provides support to medical assistant staff with patient issues, coordinates break and lunch coverage throughout the day
provides coverage during staff absences.
• Monitors hallway for clean and properly stocked exam rooms per supply/instrument checklist. Also, ensures that the check
off list is accurate and completed.
• Supports medical assistants with patient care, retrieving labs, specialty report information, and administers immunizations
as needed.
• Assists with monitoring the work of other medical assistants, maintaining documentation, and providing performance
feedback to Clinic Leadership.
• Complies with infectious waste procedures and control measures and exam room/lab cleanliness as per protocol.
• Works flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and overtime, as necessary.
• Monitor and confirm all in-house medical equipment calibrations are performed per the annual schedule.
• Coordinate with Clinic Supervisor on audit preparation for the medical assistant department and serve as a point person for
any audits at the site.
• Assist Clinic Supervisor to review, implement, maintain and monitor the department’s policies and procedures.
• Disseminate information to the medical assistant and other staff as necessary, regarding updates, changes, and new
developments with clinic policies and procedures, software updates, reports, and provides staff training as needed.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings with Clinic Leadership
• The job holder must demonstrate current competencies for this position.
EDUCATION
• High School diploma or GED.

Clinic Lead
• Medical Assistant certificate or diploma from an accredited institution preferred.
EXPERIENCE
• Medical practice experience or equivalent management experience in the healthcare field, and/or significant leadership
experience in operations required. Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a medical practice or clinic preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrates an ability to generate creative and innovative approaches to solve problems.
KNOWLEDGE
• Knowledge of clinical procedures and patient flow.
• Knowledge of clinic payment policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of medical insurance plans.

• Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office/clinic environment.
• Some bending and stretching are required.
